The S6800 Series Switches are positioned for high-density 10-Gigabit access in data centers, helping enterprises and operators build cloud data center network platforms. They can also be used in campus network/metropolitan area network (MAN) scenarios and are compatible with FiberHome's high, medium, and low-end switch products. These switches provide strong support for users in building high-performance networks and implementing security infrastructure.

The S6800 supports wire-speed packet forwarding. Each device can be equipped with 48 10GE ports and up to 6 40GE ports. The 40GE ports can operate in either 40GE mode or 4x10GE (breakout) mode.

Rich Data Center Features and Rapid Deployment

The S6800 adopts a high-performance architecture platform and supports a wide range of data center features and virtualization technologies.
It can function as a high-performance hardware VxLan gateway for overlay virtualized networks. When used in conjunction with FiberHome's new-generation high-performance data center core switches (S16800 and S7800E), it enables the construction of elastic, virtualized, and high-quality cloud data center networks.

This setup meets the network requirements of cloud data centers and enables rapid service deployment.
